Athletic Background
I began playing tennis at a young age and competed in local Southern California, national and international tournaments. I was granted a full athletic scholarship to Stanford University and played on their Division I Tennis Team for four years. Following my collegiate career, I played professional tennis on the womens circuit in Europe and other foreign countries. When returning to the academic world, I continued to play tennis and transitioned to teaching tennis part time. While my tennis career no longer is a main pursuit, it has and continues to shape the person I am today.
